Hi @gopichilla,

As the @jlie said, in your local computer, please test and confirm you can connect MySQL database successfully. Then download a connector, and connect it in Power BI desktop.

Got it, have you resolved your issue? If you can connect to MySQL successfully, you use the same authentication in Power BI desktop, you can still connect it theoretically in general.

You gotta solve this all by yourself, since the error apparently is on your side (timeout, powerquery can not connect to your database)
