I have two tables Product and Isavailable. "Product" table has 6 level of Product Hierarchies and other Table "IsAvailable" has Product availability flag. I have created Measure calculating availability for each Product. Power BI Report has below Matrix visual.
I need to slice the Matrix visual depending on selection of Product availability(Yes/No). Kindly help.
This measure uses the "FILTER" function to filter the "IsAvailable" table by the selected value of the "Availability" column, and the "CALCULATE" function to modify the data that is being displayed in the Matrix visual based on that filter. It will use the selected value from the column "Availability" from the table "IsAvailable", and filter the Product table to sum only the rows where the availability is the one selected.
You can then use this measure in your Matrix visual instead of the original measure. Also, you will have to have a relationship between the two tables.
Hi DataSlayer,
Thanks for looking and helping here!
I am sharing the sample Power BI file here for referance. So you can understand what is the issue here. In my Product Table I have 6 columns for Product column so relationship between many column to one column is required here which i am not aware of. So technically we can create one active relationship and other inactive and with Userelationship, but that seems difficult here. Hope you will look into it and provide the solution.
