Hi,
I'm trying to publish from PBI Desktop into a client's Power BI cloud account. They shared their PBI credentials (technically login.microsoftonline.com credentials) with me through LastPass, so I know the username but not the password. I can log into the PBI cloud service from the browser via lastpass.com. I've installed LastPass for Applications and the LastPass app from the Windows Store, but I don't see how to use them to fill in the popup window opened by PBI Desktop to sign into the cloud. I cannot copy/paste the password from LastPass because it's a shared account.
Is anyone successfully using LastPass with PBI Desktop, and if yes, how? Or can I only go through Get Data > Files and import my local pbix file?

Hi @otravers,
>>Is anyone successfully using LastPass with PBI Desktop, and if yes, how?
In my opinion, you need to contact LastPass whether it supports Power BI desktop app from here.
>>Or can I only go through Get Data > Files and import my local pbix file?
Of course you can upload the local pbix file to service. Publishing from Power BI Desktop has the same effect as using Get Data in Power BI to connect to and upload a Power BI Desktop file. See: Publish from Power BI Desktop.
