How to show filtered value selected in dropdown with a list of all values

Hi,

I am embedding a power bi report in web application. I am filtering the report with a value in embed url and need to use that filter to only select the value in a dropdown slicer. I still want the dropdwon list to show all other values as unselected. Is this possible?

Hi @surbdev123 - I believe this is limitation of URL Embedded Filters.  When the filter is received from outside of Power BI, it is applied to all visuals including slicers.  Here is similar community post: Setting slicer with URL - Microsoft Power BI Community  

The only option is allow users access to clear filter button or bookmark that remove filters, but these will require the original filter to be re-applied manually.
