How to set values before SELECT statement in powerbi

Hello,

I am using PowerBI Desktop version and trying to connect Impala Datasource (Big Data). I am trying to set this value before my query execution, however this fails with following error as shown below. 

Can someone point me in right direction please? Thanks in advance!

--SET ALLOW_ERASURE_CODED_FILES=1;

--SELECT * FROM mydb.mytable LIMIT 10;  ---> sample query

Does Impala have a concept of views or SP?  Those can help you mask the issue and make Power BI believe it talks to a raw table.

There is no native support for views and stored procedures in Impala. However this can be exposed via Hive and query through Impala. thanks!
