I am aiming to create a gauge map from my dataset to set up desktop/email notificaitons.
The aim is to create the gauge map so when a contract is hitting a certain number of 'service period remaining' the contract managers are notified.
The 'service period remaining' is a column in my dataset. This will also be conditional to the value of the contract i.e any value over a certin threshold will need to set off a notifcation at a different 'service period remaining.'
I don't know if a gauge map or card is the best way to set this up and any ideas will be so helpful.
Please see screenshots below and if any more information is needed please let me know.

contract value column
thank you
Hi @Anonymous ,
I have a question about your gauge, you are presenting on the blue bar the number of contract that are expirring but then the target will be the 3 months? Believe this is not very user friendly because the target should be comparable with the values you have on the bar.
Have you tough about creating a matrix with the periods and then having a condittional formatting when the period goes by?

Thank you for your response.
Yes, I don't think it is the best way to set up. i am struggling to capture the service period remaining in the gauge map but understand I can only toggle notifications from the gauge, single card and KPI visuals. Is this correct?
If I can set up notifications from a matrix visual, I am happy to explore this option. Seems like this could work well and I would be very grateful for more information and help. Happy to share a test pbix file if you need.
Thank you,
Christiana
Hi @Anonymous ,
You are correct alerts only can be setup using cards, gauges or KPI. However the information sent is difficult to read if you setup has you refer.
One option can be to setup a subscription that will send you a recurrent e-mail with the values you want to see, instead of having the notification when something gets to a certain point you can give information regulary. what do you think?
If you want to share a sample would be great.

What do you mean by subscription email?
I will share a pbix file with the data so you can input any idea of the best way to set this up.
It is simple to capture in a multi-card however there is no feature to set up a notification from the multi-card. This would be optimal.
@Anonymous ,
You can subscribe to a report, a page or a dashboard and get a copy or a link to that report, page or dashboard in your e-mail with several schedulles

This is a great option to get you values on your e-mail without the need for opening PBI.

Thank you. This is a great option to view the expiring contracts within the email body.
However my issue is setting up a data alert that is triggered by a certain number of service period remaining. Do you think this can be set up via a gauge map or single card? Please see my report below where I tried to configure this. Do you think data alerts will work from the single card triggered by a service period remaining of 3?
