Hi,
I am using a 4 scatter chart, of same datasource with 2 sets of different x/y axis.
In each chart, I need to select a particular data manually and add it to a group.
Is it possible now?

The group option is designed for combinning two visual into one, It does not supported to add a data point into group currently, Please refer to this document about the group visual feature: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-grouping-visuals
We can group by the column in the Field Panel:
