How to see a PPT file in Power BI report with use of link

I have a PPT file in a shared folder. I need that link to be given in Power BI report and when user clicks the link, it should directly open the PPT file.

How this can be done ?

Hi, @Anonymous

According to your description, you can follow my steps:

  1. Create a table which contains the PPT name and URL, like this:

  1. Change the [Link] column category to “Web URL”:

  1. Place the [Link] into visuals, then go to values, turn “Web icon” on:

And you can get what you want, like this:

The end-user can directly open the PPT file as soon as he click on the icon.
