How to schedule automatic refresh

Dear all,

I have created a report in PowerBi desktop that is importing data from an excel file that is tored on a SharePoint page.

The excel file is updated by many different users. I need to have the PowerBi dashboard automatically updated every time a user is making a change in the excel file in Sharepoint. Is that possible? If yes, how? Thanks in advance.

On PowerBI service, you can do the schedule refresh, but I believe this has limits on how many times it can run per day. The best solution would probably be to set up a Power Automate flow to refresh the data every time it detects a change in the excel file. I think this site would give you a good place to start: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/refresh-your-power-bi-dataset-using-microsoft-flow/
