How to modify anchor date for a slicer without Formating the slicer in the Visualization Pane

Hi all,

I need to show results up to the last day of the last month. Essentially, this can be achieved by adding an anchor date.

Is there a workaround so that the those who view the report do not have to manually format the slicer and modify the anchor date?

Could there be an input box that acts as an anchor date?

Thank you.
