How to merge two rows in PowerBI (tables)

I have a table that contains employee details where I needed the 'Team' column to merge into one; say Analytics team should be in one row for all the employee. 

 

As per my client's request he is asking the output in the front end of the PowerBI visualization (dashboard) as displayed in the 'Needed output' attached the imag

Can any one please help me how I can do this in PowerBI.

Hi @karthickcourse5 ,

 

We use the matrix visual to archive the similar result.

 

1. put all the field in the row field. Expand to the Final Level.

2. close the stepped layout in row headers label.

3. then you get the visual, but the ID field can only be put in the last part.

BTW, pbix as attached.

HI, the Hierarchy function is greyed out.

My Hierarchy button is grey out probably due to all of it are just wordings.

Hi, 

 

The above works by merging it, however, it becomes an error when there is a new line item being added to the excel (after refresh) of where the new line item is not being reflected after several times of on and off of the +- function. Please assist.
