Hi!
I'm finding myself in a situation where I absolutely need to figure out how to merge queries that do not have common lookup values. One table consists of store specific information, the other one product information. What I'd need is to merge the queries so that every store as a parent category has the products. Basically what DAX does when you don't have a relationship between two tables set, but unfortunately, without further dwelling on this, I can't use DAX in this occasion 😕
Hi @Camus,
Not sure how your tables are setup but I have made a simple setup of two tables:
Stores: Store
Products: Product, Date, Value
Go to your store table and add a custom column:
Expand the Custom column to new rows and it will result with a column with all the rows with Table
Do expand again and select the columns you want to show and if you want to keep the column name:
Final result is a table with Store repeated for every single product you have.
Not sure if this is what you want but without further information it's difficult to have a more specific result.
