How to merge continents and generate a new region ?

Hi,

I'm new to PBI, so pls excude trivial question.

I want to merge two continents and generate a new region.

E.g. Merging North America And South America ( 2 continents) and replace them by "The Americans" (1 region).

Note - This new value has to be used as a filter.

Hi @ShashankV16,

For your requirement, you can try to open the query editor and use replace value function to replace the specific values.

Steps:

1. Click "Edit Queries".
2. Choose column which you want to replace.
3. Right Click and select the replace value option.
