How to make my selection in 1 slicer effect all pages

Hi guys,

I have one slicer which I'd like the selected item is affected all of my report pages. How am I going to achieve that ?

The slicer is put on the 1st page, but still it is free for user to select.

I still hesitant to put the same field on Filter -> Filters on all pages section, wouldn't it means me or user need to filter on this Filter section instead on my slicer ?

I can put (copy) the slicer with the same field on each pages and set to Synchronize, but this also means I will need to "save" place  for the slicer somewhere in each pages which I don't want to that either.

So what I need is that 1 slicer in 1st page affected all the pages.

Thanks,

@admin_xlsior You can use sync slicer for the same to make changes on each page of the report- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-slicers

@admin_xlsior , Only report level filter(All page) can work or sync slicer can pass it across. I am not sure there is any other option to do that.

I found this confusing to read at first. My solution to this problem is to use sync slicer (Slicers in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn)

Hi @Anonymous

Yes, understand this, as mentioned in my topic as well. It seems there is no other way beside to have the slicer in each page, sync and hide it.

Thanks
