How to limit the rows while loading the power query

Hi Team,

 

I'm consolidating the multiple excel sheets via power query to load into powerBI desktop.. however, each excel having n numbers of rows which taking more time to load. Need a solution to limit the rows in the query. so that it loads as soon as possible. please help and it would be helpful.

Hello @vishnu-Prasad ,

 

you could filter the table in power query using one of the columns depending on your need, so if you need specific date then filter the date column to show only date after a specific date then it will filter the data for this and load the data as filtered.

you could filter the table in power query using one of the columns depending on your need, so if you need specific date then filter the date column to show only date after a specific date then it will filter the data for this and load the data as filtered.
