How to hide a column in a table using a checkbox button.

We have integrated a form in power bi and created a report using table. We want to create a checkbox button so when user selects the checkbox the table gets updated and some columns get hidden. We have tried to look online and found a solution which uses bookmarks to create a button so when the button is clicked it switches to different view which we have bookmarked but we are not looking for this we want to update the table when button is pressed and want to have multiple buttons such as:

[] hide media button which hides all the columns containing media.
[] hide text button which hides all the columns containing text.

how do we achieve this please help?

We have already implemented the above however there is a limitation when we click on hide media button it switches to different view which we don't want. We want the button to update the table so it can perform multiple button fuctionalities on same table instead of switching the views.

For example when we press hide media it updates the table and hide all media columns, then after that we press hide text it updates the table and hide media and text both columns and vice versa.

Hello @sahibzadafahad9 ,

You can use Field Parameters.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-field-parameters

Mix field parameters and bookmarks to do what you want.

Have a nice day.
