How to get value for future dates

Hi,

I want to have sum of Extended cost for next 6 months from now. DAX for last 2 months work correctly, but doesn't work for next months.

I want to have Planned Completion date 6 months from today. I have linked date table with Planned Completion date.

This works for me :

Past date (2 Months) = CALCULATE('WIP WO Inventory'[Extended Cost Measure Cal],DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],TODAY(),-61,DAY))
However when I try to add 6 months it doesn't work  : Next date (6 Months) = CALCULATE('WIP WO Inventory'[Extended Cost Measure Cal],(DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],TODAY(),+180,DAY)))

I want this result in DAX

    Hi Anonymous

    Based on the picture you have offered, you need to make sure that dated of the next 6 months are included in the date table, if they are nor existed, it cannot work, you can try the following.

    Calendar =
    CALENDAR ( DATE ( 2024, 1, 1 ), TODAY () + 180 )

    Best Regards!
