How to get one row of data based on multiple tables

Hi,

I have a scenario to put data in a table visual in a particular way. Please see screenshot below of the current state, I have included source of the fields.

FirstCapture.png

Below is a master table that holds data of when a BOM was created with the id column values: 204,205,206 etc. The values showed in id column below is also included as bom_id in the screenshot above.

Now the issue is, as per first screenshot, I get multiple rows for effctive mass along with bom_id and that is because there are mutiple date values logged in created_at field. The solution I am looking for is, only include created_date values in the visual if there is a match in the created_at field from boms(screenshot above) table. So the output I am looking for is something similar to below which isnt the case currently shown in the very first screenshot shared above:

Due to relationship ambiguity, I have not been able to achieve this via just adding a relationship, may be a measure with userelationship would help? Please if anyone has a solution to this, thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Have you solved your problem?

I'm not quite sure if I understand your needs accurately.
Sample data without sensitive information and expected output would help tremendously.
Please see this post regarding: How-to-provide-sample-data-in-the-Power-BI-Forum

Hope it helps,

please show your data model . Please provide sanitized sample data in usable format (not as a picture - inserting it into a table would be good) and show the expected outcome.
