How to get measure outputs into a filter

Hi,
I have the following measure of which the logic outputs a text based on various criteria. How do I go about being able to see the text values output as a slicer please i.e Change and Above?

if([app_value] = 0
&& [comp_value] = 0
&& [app_value_minus_comp_value] = 0,
"Change",

if([app_value] > [comp_value]
&& [comp_value] > 0
&& [comp_value_%_diff_from_app_value] >0.1,
"Above",""))

Hi @M_SBS_6 ,

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.

(1) This is my test data.

vtangjiemsft_0-1686881126947.png

(2) Due to the design, the measure cannot be placed on the slicer. So we can create a column.

OutputText =
VAR app_value = [app_value]
VAR comp_value = [comp_value]
VAR app_value_minus_comp_value = [app_value_minus_comp_value]
RETURN
IF(
    app_value = 0 && comp_value = 0 && app_value_minus_comp_value = 0,
    "Change",
    IF(
        app_value > comp_value && comp_value > 0 && app_value_minus_comp_value > 0.1,
        "Above",
        ""
    )
)

(3) Or we can create a table.

Table (2) = {"Change","Above"}

Then we can create measures.

Measure = SWITCH(TRUE(),
 MAX('Table'[app_value]) = 0
&& MAX('Table'[comp_value]) = 0
&& MAX('Table'[app_value_minus_comp_value]) = 0,
"Change",

MAX('Table'[app_value])> MAX('Table'[comp_value])
&& MAX('Table'[comp_value]) > 0
&& MAX('Table'[app_value_minus_comp_value]) >0.1,
"Above","")

Flag =
IF('Table'[Measure] in VALUES('Table (2)'[Slicer]),1,0)

If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
