Hi,
I am having a problem. I am using a dataset that contains date, type and number of submissions. I would like to use a slicer which limits are the highest value (max point) and the lowest value in the table (min point).
Highest: Lowest:
When I drag submissions into a slicer it gives me this:
182 is the highest number of occurances per day per type. Is there a way how to remove this kind of filtering and focus on what is solely in the table?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I created a sample pbix file(see attachment) for you, please check whether that is what you want.

Hi @Anonymous ,
What the lowest and highetst values means? Is it the number of submissions or the lowest and highetst number of each type per day? Assuming that your table has the same data as the table below, what is the result you want? When your date slicer select the date as 1/12/2021, the slicer with the lowest and highetst value is from 20 to 40?
Date | Type | Submitted |
1/12/2021 | A | 20 |
1/12/2021 | B | 30 |
1/12/2021 | C | 40 |
1/13/2021 | A | 50 |
1/13/2021 | C | 40 |
1/14/2021 | A | 30 |
1/14/2021 | B | 60 |
Best Regards
Hi @v-yiruan-msft, and thanks for your interest.
I am interested in the number of total submissions, so in your case it is A= 100 (20+50+30) which is the highest number. The lowest number is C=80 (40+40). In other words, I want the slicer to ignor the individual values yet slice based on the total number of submissions for the period.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I created a sample pbix file(see attachment) for you, please check whether that is what you want.

@v-yiruan-msft This is a great solution, but I just realised it doesn't work with a date slicer.
I am using this kind of slicer, yet the totals are always the same no matter what I select, I tried adding ALLSELECTED to your formula but there was no effect. Do you have any idea?
Hi @Anonymous ,
I refer the following video to update the pbix file(see attachment), please check whether that is what you want.

You are the man, thanks a lot!
@Anonymous so you are using Submitted column in the slicer? If yes, is there any filter/slicer on the page?
