How to dynamically filter visuals by month minus one

I've been having a look at this forum, and there are lots of similar questions on this topic, but I couldn't find any which are specific to my requirements.

I have the below visuals on my report, these are currently filtered by the 'Period' slicer on the top left. For the first row, this is exactly how I want it to behave. But for the second row, I want to be able to see the previous month's data dynamically. I.e currently the top row is showing February, but I want the second row to automatically show January.

Any suggestions would be welcome - thanks in advanced.

If I catched it right you will need a measure which calculates the measure used in your second row -1 Month.
Stg like this:

CALCULATE(
                [Sales Amount],
                DATEADD('Date'[Date], -1, MONTH)
)
Just an idea. Try out.
