How to display values periodically in a stacked area chart?

Hi Friends,

I am relatively new to Power BI and  working on Dashboarding some sample HelpDesk data.  I am trying to display the number of ticket ID's whose statuses are In Progress, New, Resolved over the past one year on my stacked area chart.

Table Info: I have an Issue table and a Status Table where I linked the tables with a status ID column which is common in both the tables as shown in the below images:

Here's the problem:
My chart is displaying the "current status" of all those Tickets that were created since the past year instead of displaying the original status's  of the tickets for the selected date range.
this is what I am getting:

Expected Result:
For the selected Date Range, I would like to display the count of  Ticket ID's with their original status (In Progress, New, Resolved).
example:

Any help would be appreciated!!!

kindly help me with you suggestions.

Thank you.
