My company would like deploy a custom theme to all Power BI users; is there a command line, script, registry entry, other method that can get the theme imported without having users manually import the JSON file from the GUI?
Thank You
I'm bumping this old question. We would also like to deploy a custom .json theme to all users the same way it is done in Office by User Templates. Here's a screenshot from Word where we have deployed our own Themes. Are there any Group Policy templates for Power BI? Intune settings? Powershell?
Best regards,
Mathias
Maybe create a PBIX with the imported theme and save it as a PBIT (ie PBI template) under "save as", and share this PBIT?

Yes, we're currently thinking about deploying a .PBIT-template through SCCM and add a new shortcut to the start-menu. It's strange that Microsoft doesn't seem to have the same central (template) deployment support as for Office when the themes/template functionality looks almost identical.
HI @LazAlex,
Current custom theme will cache to pbix file if you import theme to power bi. So you can share report file to share these style.
If you mean modify default style of power bi desktop without any operate, I think it is impossible
