Hi v-pnaroju-msft,

Thanks for your response. This is not exactly what I was looking for as for a single SKU I wanted the the bar charts for each metric similar to the visual. But I have already found a workaround by using two separate charts so never mind putting more effort into it. Thank you so much for your response! 😍

Use a stacked bar chart visual.

Add SKU to the Axis.

Add the following measures to Values:

  • Safety Stock
  • Cycle Stock
  • Difference = On-hand Inventory − (Safety + Cycle)

To show On-hand Inventory as a full bar, stack all parts so they sum to the On-hand value.

Thanks,
Bhavin
Problem solved? Hit “Accept as Solution” and high-five me with a Kudos! Others will thank you later!

This does not work or may be I was not clear enough in explaining.

  • In stacked bar chart there is no "Values" option to drag the measures It only has X-Axis, Y-Axis, Legend and Small Multiples
  • If I drag the Safety Stock, Cycle Stock and Difference measures it always stacks on top and in this way there will always be a single bar/ stacked bar

Some of the main issues I'm thinking of, let me know the workaround or if any better approach is available

  • We cannot have bar chart and stacked bar chart in a single chart
  • The intended visual looks close to waterfall but waterfall chart also does not allow stacking (I think)
  • Since both safety and cycle stocks are measures, we don't have anything to bifurcate these two (e.g. as legends) in single bar

Please help!
