I need to create a visual in PowerBI that has this behavior when expanding a category in a matrix.
Currently I can only see the distinction between actual and plan when I fully drill down through my groups.
I need to be able to see the distinction at all levels and in a total row. Where the aggregations are done using the Actual/Plan groups
Solved! Go to Solution.
You need to expand the entire level to see that.
under row headers switch "stepped layout" off and selectively remove the totals.
I removed the stepped layout and removed the row totals. However this doesn't get me much closer to a solution. Is there a way to force the aggregation to separate the values i.e. the plan and actual values cannot be summed together as they are not the same thing. also I need to see plan and actual for each level not just the lowest level.
This is what I have now but I need to see what I see for Comp 1 group for A and B as well when those groups are minimized. Summarized with Plan values added to other plan values and Actual values added to other actual values.
You need to expand the entire level to see that.
