Hello! 🙂
I try to implement a dynamic sheet in PowerBI.
I do have 8 tables (table 1-8) and a main table and I want to create a drop down visual where I can choose a table (1-8) and then it will show me all values including in the selected table.
Is there any way to achieve that in PowerBI Desktop? I am a complete beginner and only figured out, how to slice on columns, not complete tables.

@Anonymous , Are you looking for object-level security? Sorry, I am not clear yet.
Hi @Anonymous
If you are considering a visibility-level switch between table visuals, you may try using bookmark or page navigation features.
You can put multiple visuals on the same report page. For each visual, create a bookmark to show it only and hide other visuals. Then use buttons to select which bookmark you want to show. For example, Bookmarks and Buttons: Making Power BI Charts Even More Interactive
You can also put visuals on different pages and hide these pages. Create a home page and put a slicer on it to select which page you want to go, and a button to apply the action. Create a back button on these hidden pages so that you can go back, or create page navigation slicers so that you can go to other pages. An example: Dynamic Page Navigation in Power BI Desktop. An video reference: Conditional Navigation is an INSANE AMAZING way to change pages in Power BI Desktop
Kindly let me know if this helps.

Ok I understand,
I received the specification from the management that it is desired not to have all tables constantly displayed in PowerBI, but that you want an interactive way to select which table (s) you want to be displayed.
