How to create Time parameters in power bi desktop

How to create start and end date parameters like in ssrs in power bi desktop? I tried to create a new parameter button, but don't know how to add 2 parameters to control the data. Any help will be appreciated.

Are you trying to do this in the query or in the report? The basic equivalent in reports are slicers.

Thank for the prompt answer. It's for report. User wants to review the report by selecting date range.

For many years date values, it's impossible to use slicer for me. Here's the slicer tutorial I've found.
