Hi,
I have shape files in a zip folder which includes .cpg, .dbf, .prj, .sbn, .sbx, .shp, .shp.xml, .shx. How do I import the shape file into the Power BI Desktop and start create maps?
I am new to Power BI and have no idea where to start?
1) Do I need to convert these .cpg, .dbf, .prj, .sbn, .sbx, .shp, .shp.xml, .shx files to some other format?
2) Do I need to import the entire zip file into Desktop? How do I do it?
3) Which is the appropriate map to use to start developing?
4) Is the ArcGIS Maps are the right visualization to use these shape files?
Is there any step by step guide or tutorials for this use case?
I did browse through the internet, but could not find any suggesting how to start working with shape files.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
