Hello Gurus,
I wondered if controlling 2 separate stack area charts simultaneously is possible. So, I have two separate cluster area charts that display different stats. Is it possible that when I hover over the chart in one of the two visuals both charts will display the same date and display their respective tooltips information? Essentially, I want both charts to function as one.
Currently - I can only display one chart at a time.
What I Want - When I hover over on any of the two charts, both charts will display the same date and tooltips within their respective chart. Is this possible?
@Anonymous No but you could potentially create measures for the information displayed in the tooltips of each chart and then add the appropriate measures to the tooltips of each visual and thus the tooltip for each chart would display its own information as well as the information from the other chart via the measures.
Greg, that sounds interesting. How would that work? At the moment, each chart has its own measures. So are you saying to just include ALL measures from both chart in one chart?
@Anonymous Well, that's the idea essentially. But, you may need to modify the measures for display in the other chart. Going to be highly dependent on context. I don't know your data or your measures so hard for me to be sure.
