Hi @Sudip_J ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community,

To connect Power BI Desktop with SharePoint, you can follow these steps:

If you're connecting to a SharePoint Folder (e.g. for Excel/CSV files):

  1. Open Power BI Desktop.

  2. Go to Home > Get Data > More.

  3. Select SharePoint Folder > Click Connect.

  4. Enter your SharePoint site URL in this format (not the full path to the file):
    https://yourdomain.sharepoint.com/sites/YourSiteName

  5. Sign in with your organizational account when prompted.

  6. Power BI will list the files in the SharePoint folder. Choose the required file(s) and transform the data as needed in Power Query.

If you're connecting to a specific SharePoint List:

  1. Go to Home > Get Data > More.

  2. Choose Online Services > SharePoint Online List > Click Connect.

  3. Enter the SharePoint site URL:
    https://yourdomain.sharepoint.com/sites/YourSiteName

  4. Authenticate using your organizational credentials.

  5. Select the required list(s) from the navigator window and load them into your report.

Hi, copy the location of the file from Sharepoint (if you hover over the file, 3 dots appear, from there go to details and copy the path of the file). Then from Power BI, select Web as data source and simply paste the path. You should be able to connect.

If this helps to resolve your problem, then please mark it as solution, thanks!
