How to configure a slicer to select the latest date by default?

Hi all,

I have a slicer as below representing a data column of one of the data sources:

I would like this slicer to select by default the latest date available. Since most of the time, the users are interested to see the data related to the latest date available as soon as they open the report. Is there any way to achieve this? Thanks!
