I have two date slicers using different date columns from the same table. The user is always going to select the same date from both so I need to combine these slicers into one. What is the best method to accomplish this?
Thanks
Hi @U156531 - Add a new calculated column to your table that combines the logic of both date columns
CombinedDate = YourTable[DateColumn1]
or second approach:
Create one seperate date table
DateTable =
CALENDAR (
MIN(YourTable[DateColumn1]),
MAX(YourTable[DateColumn2])
)
at relationship part , Go to Model view.
Create a relationship between DateTable[Date] and YourTable[DateColumn1].
Create another relationship between DateTable[Date] and YourTable[DateColumn2].
Add Slicer:
Add a slicer using the DateTable[Date] field.
