How to change the date format on chart?

Hello, I have a chart which maps date time to some value, I want to change the format of datetime on the chart from like "Tuesday, June, 6, 2016" to "6/6/2016"

Hi @ibrahimsharaf,

Please click the Date column in the Fields panel  of the above screenshot, then you can click on Modeling in the Desktop ribbon and change the date format to your desired format. There is an example for your reference.

@ibrahimsharaf since the type of column in your dataset is Text you will have to change the format in your data source.
