Hi All,
When I change the header of a column in a table by changeing the field name at the datavisualization/report layer in Power BI Desktop I do not have tracability back to the original name since the model is updated. So when we review the report the question gets raised what was the original name?
Any solution to this question?
Many Thanks!

@Anonymous
Hover over the column name it will display the original name in the dataset.
If it helps, mark it as a solution,
Kudos are nice too

Thanks but that did not work for me. The name when I hover is the same name I renamed the column to in the Field listed on the far right in Power BI. Where do you rename that column header? Maybe that is the problem for me.
Thanks!
Ok I figured it out. If you rename the field at the far right it loses track of the source of the field at the dataset level. But if you rename the field where you hovered in your snapshot then it works.
Thanks for the image!
@Anonymous
You should rename the source tables in Query Editor so that you could check the old name there in Applied Steps.
