Hi,
In POWER BI, when I pull the data directly from excel certain numerical columns come by defualt with Summation symbol but some are not (they appear probably as text).
For those, which are appearing with summation symbol when any graph or visualization tool is used, various options like sum, Max, min, average etc., are available, and for those without summation symbol only count is available.
Is it possible to manually change the format of the column so that all numerical column will have options like average, sum etc.,?

Very easy, choose the field and then under the ribbon moddeling you can choose the data type.
In the Query Editor, you can see a step "Changed Type" when Excel files are imported. In that step you can adjust the type.

Thanks for your reply.
Actually, intially the data type options was greyed out for me, but it works now and this helped to change the format as per requirement.
