How to change Time value to Decimal number

In a column I have values

8.00.00

2.30.00

4.45.00

which are Time Type. I need to change them to Decimal Numbers so they would be

8,00

2,50

4,75

How can I achieve this?

Hi,

According to your description, i create a sample like this:

100.PNG

101.PNG

After Apply&Close, it shows:

102.PNG

Then try this calculated column:

TimeDuration = 'Table'[Custom]*24

The result shows:

105.PNG

Here is my test pbix file:

Hope this helps.

@Finnair ,Try like a new column

New column = hour([Time]) + Minute([Time])/60

No, my time values are in fact durations, so your suggestion is not ok. Thanks anyway.

Try something like below

Time=hour(table[time])+(minute(table[time])/60)

If you are facing any issue related to type use format function to convert it into appropriate one
Thanks
