How to automate a visual date filter

Hello there,

I have a dashboard with four visuals; one presents a performance trend for each month. For the visual, which presents a trend I want months to automatically update when it turns from one month to the other instead of manually filtering the months. I want it to be flexible not using the relative date filter in Power BI.
