How to approach an existing powerbi report and rewire it?

Hi all,

I would like to know how we can approach the powerbi project which was done by a member who left the firm without having a proper documentation; like  a step by step process like below. which tools we can use to dissect the powerbi (like Tabular editor, Bravo etc)

1. Identify the data sources

2. Check the calculated columns and measures

3. Inspect the data model

4. Visual level aspects like bookmarks, filters, Sync slicers and it's grouping etc

5. RLS

+ kindly add the steps I missed and share the best practice we need to follow.

You help is very much appreciated
