How to add two filters by creating two relationships between two different tables?

Hi everyone,

I have two data tables in Power BI. I have attached samples below.

I want to create a dashboard that looks somewhat like this:

I want the visualizations to filter with two different variables, i.e., Date and Equipment. So, the date slicer would filter the visualizations, and when I click on a specific equipment in Visualization A, it would filter the same equipment in Visualization B.

I have managed to do this for date or equipment, one at a time. I know that I cannot have two relationships in Power BI.

Is there any roundabout to this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous

create a separate date table that filters both tables and use it in both chats.

Also create filter table that contains all the unique equipments (in your example it will contain only two rows - Euipment 1 & Euipment 2) and use it to filter both tables and in both chats.

The date relationship works. But not the equipment relationship.

Hi Sameera,

If this is a sample file would you please share it in a download link? thank you
