How to add an editable independent column to the queries, what I can edit after

Dear All!

My question is kind of complicated. Let me explain in the first section, then summarize in the next section.

So I have JSON thorugh web -source, my queries stands for different fields of a JIRA ticket (from different projects).

I querying bug tickets from JIRA, but there is one data we need to add manually, because it is not part of the queries. And the visualisations are uploded to an online workspace to app.powerbi.com.

I have difficulties to add a new column and fill with the extra data manually.

My first attempt was, to create an excel export from the online report, add the new column with the additional data, upload it Sharepoint, then use that excel file as a new source, and add the extra column to my table reports. The update has limitations, I cant repeat this process with the newly queried rows, because  visualization, afterwards I add the new column from the export the new  query results wont be visible (so I handle them different visualization).

I could add a custom column with "null" as value to a new table, along with the issue-keys, but after the re-export, the formerly modified data will be overwritten again by null. So this is not a good solution.

Im avare, I can add values in a custom column, by row ID, but i need to deal with huge amount of data month by month, so I try to find something simplier than that.

So anyone have in mind a solution, how to add an independent colunm, where the number of rows will be increasing as the query rows are increasing, and input can be added -or removed whenever it is necessary.

Thank you for reading this !

Karolina
