Power BI desktop user interface

 
 

hey all,

 

my power BI desktop started looking like the pic below out of a sudden. i feel it is not the latest version or not the right mode and i cannot find many features like Q&A, anybody knows why and how to fix it?

You can change the settings by unchecking on the "Update Ribbon" in the Options & Settings as seen below:Screenshot.jpg

The gridlines are ticked in your case, which you can uncheck from the View Button in the ribbon.

Again in the latest version, the new ribbon is set as the default. So what you are seeing should be the latest.

 

On the Q&A, they happen to be in the Modelling tab.

maybe i didnt state my problem clearly, the user interface i would like to use looks like this, which is the bright mode with more features, instead what i have now is different. pic.PNG
