Hi,
Please help if you know how to add / retain the file name when saving PBIT as PBIX. Here is the scenario. I have created some reports in Power BI and have saved them as .PBIT files. When I re-open the file using Power BI Desktop, it always opens as 'Untiltled' file, meaning I will have to re-input the file name to save as .PBIX.
My concern is when I share these .PBIT files with someone or with my customers, they might give it a new name to save as .PBIX file. This will lead to confusions and to trace back the report which was originally shared. Is there a way to overcome this or to retain the original .PBIT file name when saving the files as .PBIX?
Thanks for your inputs / help.
Best Regards,
gprasad

@v-diye-msft - Thanks for the suggestion and will submit this as an idea. Hope, others also face similar issue with file naming.
@gprasadsv I don't think there is a solution for this. At the end of the day, it is just another file and they can save with whatever name they want.
