How to Trace Data Flow in Power BI Connected to SSAS

I’m currently working on a Power BI report that is connected to MSSQL and SSAS.
I’m trying to understand how a specific visual object—like the one shown in the image—is built:
Specifically, which cubes in SSAS it pulls from, and what logic or calculations are applied.
I’m unsure where to start looking in order to trace the data lineage and logic.
Is there a structured way to investigate or reverse-engineer how the visual is built?

*I’m aware of the Performance Analyzer tool, which ChatGPT recommended as a simple and effective way to copy the underlying query — is this truly the best method?

Performance Analyzer is a good start. It will show you if the query folds.  If it does then you need to use SQL Server Profiler to trace the actual query that runs in the data source.

Install DAX Studio too, and learn how to use it.
