In terms of attaching .pbix files, I just attempted a post with a link to a .pbix hosted on DropBox and it got marked as spam.
(It might have been something else, but I followed most, if not all, of the above advice).
Edit this was later resolved after I challenged it as not-spam, so this is still a viable, if awkward, method.
