How to Create a Range Slicer for Premium Value Filtering per Plan Design ID

Hello Power BI Community,

I am working on a dataset that includes the following key columns:

  • Plan Design ID (Plan Design id)
  • Premium Value (premium)

I want to create a slicer in Power BI that allows users to input a minimum and maximum value for the premium field. The goal is to filter all visuals on the page based on the selected premium range.

I have plan design id in 1 table and premium in other table

Here are the requirements:

  1. The slicer should allow users to define a custom range (using a "Between" slicer).
  2. All visuals on the report should dynamically filter based on the selected range.
  3. The slicer should work across multiple Plan Design IDs.

I have ensured that the premium column is numeric and contains no null values. However, I am not sure how to configure the slicer so it interacts effectively with visuals that depend on Plan Design ID.

Any guidance or tips would be highly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi @kapildua16,

We can set the cross filter direction to Both between plan design and premium table, and another property becomes available.
