How do I create a new column that divides one column by another to get a percentage? For example, for email marketing, the number of email opens divided by email deliveries equals open rate.
I created a column that shows the value, but it is not a percentage and the bottom is a sum total, rather than continuing the division calculation on the total number of opens and deliveries.
I did some research and came up with this measure, but I'm getting an error message.
Hi @SirJJAnderson ,
Measures are diferent from calculated columns, you have to write your calculation using aggregators.
This case should be like:
Measure = DIVIDE(SUM(TABLE1[Opens]); SUM(TABLE[Deliveries]))
Got it! I'm a total noob, appreciate your help here!
