How to Conditionally Format a Clustered Column Chart Based on a Line value

Hi,

I am looking to apply conditional formatting to a clusterd column chart that contains a line value.  I would like the column to simply turn red if it is greater than the value of the 'Budget' line, and green if it is below.  The line values are dynamic and change everytime the data set is refreshed.

I can set conditional formatting based on a discreet value, but cannot seem to find anywhere how to relate the formatting to the line value data set.

This is an example of what I would like to create (I have manually changed the colour of these columns)

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

Hi @StephenL_8 ,

For this you need to create an additional measure with the logic you want something similar to this:

Format = IF( [Sales] > [Budget] , 1 , 0)

Now on the condittional formatting use this measure and when the value is 1 set to red
