How do I get this date partition in the graph?

This one to be specific:

This is how I have our data set up:

But I am still not seeing a partition in the date field at the lowest level of the data:

hi @olimilo ,

you will get the caterogical option once you drill up the visual to the maximum level (Here, Year). do that and categorical will get enabled to select.
alternatively, you can right click on the X-axis date field (build visual pane) and insted of hierarchy, set the field as it is by the column name. that will also make all the dates visible. but in this case drill up/down will not happen.

cheers

Hi @olimilo

Change your X-axis settings to categorical, expand the hierarchy all the way down (expand icon appears on the upper left when you hover a visual)  and disable concatenation of the fields so they're grouped by hierarchy.

Edit: Specifically, I can't find it on graphs that use a custom date hierarchy from my Calendar table:

I don't see this option in the Line Chart visual's settings:

Hi @olimilo

In order to view all of your months in your x axis, you need to select type = Categorical.

Please see below, I have made the change in the bottom line graph

I hope this helps, please give a thumbs up and mark as solved if it does, thanks!

Hi @olimilo ,

Go to format visual ---> X-Axis   ----->  change the type from continulus to categorical. this will bring all the dates in the X axis.

Hope this solves the ask. If so, Plz accept  as solution, else let me know the issue.
