How do I get a stacked bar chart to display text ?

Hi,

  I have the following column Calculation:

DoneDisplay = "(" & 'FeaturesWithTheirIssues-GroupByStatusWithTheirPoints'[FeatureTotalPointsDoneStatus] & ") " & FORMAT('FeaturesWithTheirIssues-GroupByStatusWithTheirPoints'[FeatureTotalPointsDonePctOfGrandTotal], "#%")

The first field is defined as a Decimal number data type and format of General.

The second field is defined as a Decimal number data type and format of Percentage with 0 decimals.

For the Legend I have this field mapped and it is showing:

However, when I try to put this on the X-axis, it is showing:

It ony gives me the option to change it to Count or Count (Distinct), I need to show above the same as what the legend is showing within the stacked bar chart.

Power BI can only aggregate numerical data (e.g., sum, average) on the X-axis.

Steps:

  1. Use the numerical column (FeatureTotalPointsDoneStatus) on your stacked bar chart as the X-axis.
  2. Add the DoneDisplay column in Tooltips or Data Labels to display your custom concatenated values as labels or hover text.

If this helped, a Kudos 👍 or Solution mark would be great!
