I Need to Access a 32bit Progress Database, and I I have the appropriate driver. I can access the database without problems using RStudio with a R32bit, for example. When trying to access this database with RStudio using a 64bit R version, I get a mistake back from the driver. Also, when trying to access thre database with a 64bit driver, it simply cannot connect.
I want to use PowerBI to access this 32bit data directly, using an RScript. When trying to do this, even when using the PowerBI 32bit version, I get the same driver mistake I get when I try to use a 64bit R through RStudio, so my assumption is that PowerBI is using a 64bit R to execute the RScripts.
If this is the case, how can I indicate that R will use a 32bit R to execute the scripts?
